List of blogging sites - x-droov

You can start a blog from virtually anywhere including your phone, but I am going to cover credible CMSs(Content Management Systems) that can help you host your website.
Some of them are free and others are paid. It's up to you to decide keeping it in mind that free sites come with more hustles and headache. These free sites also require more work in terms of design and even lack certain features in some CMSs.
Your pocket decides here. If you have some money, buy a paid site and if you don't, use the free site.
1. Google Blogger
This is a great blogging tool for guys who don't want to pay for a blog. It's better when you understand web design principles.
Blogger has been criticized because of its inability to allow use of third party plugins to provide better site performance.
In spite of that, Blogger still works well in terms of Google ranking if used well. I think it's because Blogger is Google's trademark.
2. WordPress
The supplier of both free and paid blogs. Paid blogs though start from as low as $4 per month. That turns to 48 dollars in a year.
If you can pay, pay because that gives you more tools and a full custom domain name like emmy.com instead of emmy.wordpress.com.
WordPress free plan is suitable for learning WordPress architecture. Because they have a paid plan, their free plan is very limited in order to make you pay for their sites.
3. Wix
Like a better version of WordPress, wix allows a person without any indepth computer knowledge to create a blog.
You just have to add simple widgets and edit directly like in Microsoft PowerPoint.
The flexibility is great. If you don't have much computer knowledge, try using wix.
4. Medium
Medium is just like Google Blogger. You only get an account on medium and start off.
Because medium is a very large website with predefined topics to write for, your blog has higher chances of success.
One downside is that you don't own your content. On Google Blogger, you can purchase a custom domain to make your site yours, but on medium, it's not possible.
Take care. You might waste time on medium only to find hard time exporting your content somewhere else.
5. Weebly
If you read about wix, Weebly is just like wix. It offers drag and drop features with both the free and paid plans.
Like WordPress, their free plan is very limited. About 400mb of bandwidth compared to Google Blogger's 15 GB initial.
6. Joomla
Joomla is just like WordPress. It offers easy editing. It's a great option, but keep in mind that it is mainly for heavy content websites or blogs.
Using Joomla isn't that hard so you just need to know how to use Microsoft word.
That's the list of sites I have put out for you. Blogging is all about research, reading and writing. Once you master that, you can try to strive.
