How to analyze your blogspot traffic in early stages - x-droov

When your blog is new on the web and you're being confused by many people about how you will analyze traffic to your newly created blog. You might end up landing somewhere destructive and in the long run delete your blog because of unreliable results.
The main area to analyze traffic is Google analytics. Everyone will tell you to register an analytics account as soon as possible, but I am not going to encourage you to do so because of a bunch of reasons.

Why you shouldn't register a new blog on analytics

1. Reason one is simple. What are you really going to analyze. You are a new blog on the market. Put all your time into creating content. As long as you are posting, you'll then get a considerable amount of traffic that will require you to use analytics.
2. Analytics is somehow selective in how often it provides results for new blogs. In short, it takes a very long time to start seeing real graphs of your traffic.
3. Analytics is complex and you need to first use a simple tool before going for it. This is real. If you've ever used analytics, you know what I mean.
4. Your pages and posts aren't indexed yet. Google can ignore new sites for a long time. During that time, be blind to useless tools and concentrate on creating content. Fifty articles aren't enough to even make a blog stand on its own. Remember that once your blog starts ranking, it should have enough properly linked content to keep your readers engaged.

How to analyze traffic for a new blog

The only place where you can do simple and free analysis is blogger stats. This is the only place which cant miss any traffic in and out of your site. It'll tell you how you are performing at the first stages of your site.
This should be the first place you check every day you jump into your site. It's a complete kit for all beginners and is easy to use.

How to use blogger stats

Open the blogger stats from the blogger menu. There you'll find the total number of posts that you have made, the number of comments on your posts and traffic statistics.
The overall traffic is shown with traffic for the current month, last month, that day and the day before.
In the initial phase, the stats will collect data from even your own visits. That can be detrimental to your analysis. To stop that, scroll down and click on the  "manage tracking your own page views".
Uncheck the tracking on your own page views and it will be on. You'll then be able to make good decisions on where to concentrate your efforts.
You might have shared a bunch of links in a social media site and you want to know how many people followed those links.
Simply navigate to stats and see the last day's traffic and that day's traffic. Or you can check on traffic sources to see which websites the visitors are coming from. That way you can start being picky on which posts you share on which site.
Blogger stats will also show you the browsers used by your visitors and their operating systems.
I know what you need as a beginner and I know that all your needs will be satisfied by the Blogger stats.
