The Apple car project

Apple's move through its electric car project code name Titan has been blanketed by many secret plans and misty future goals.  The project dates back to 2014 when apple first showed interest in the electric and self driving car technology hiring about 200 engineers at the time..

The last years though had apple say that it was only working on self driving car software design   making it go on to search for partnerships with already established car companies to provide it with the hardware necessary for testing its software. Among the big names were BMW, Mercedes and Nissan of which none accepted the deal. Another roumer was of a partnership with Hyundai though Hyundai also refused having had any talks with Apple.

Recent advancements have had Apple reveal that it's now on the road to building its own car. This was revealed by Reuters to be released around 2024 in contradiction with Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo who said that it would not be possible before 2027, but the speed with which Apple is acquiring trade partners only leaves many people skeptical about its future. Remember that anything can happen from rise in technology to cracking a deal with a big company or snapping very innovative startups.
Steve Jobs, founder of Apple Inc is said to have had interest in the Apple car back in 2008 before the first iPhone during the times when Tesla was struggling with its first Electric Vehicle (EV).The high level of secrecy is assumed to have been a result of the tight competition in the car industry and the sure levels of bankruptcy if they were to start Apple car manufacturing.

The SUV's testing Apple's self driving technology have been spotted around Silicon valley near Apple's headquarters and are using convolutional neural network to detect 3D objects using lidar navigation sensors which Apple is looking to acquire at production-efficient costs. That's the basis of self driving because the car has to have the ability to differentiate a picture of a man from the real man just like humans do.
Apple's jump into battery manufacturing is to provide batteries that are able to run 500km on full charge with a potential of charging up to 80% in 18 minutes during intense fast charging. Without that assurance, electric cars are just a dream for Apple. It's also an initiative to try and catch up with Tesla who are far more developed in their battery life with the Tesla power wall batteries and high accelerating cars gaining massive public approval.

Apple recently partnered with Volkswagen to release a car with an acclerative power of switching from 0-60miles/hr in less than 3.5 seconds.  To reassure you of Apple's enthusiasm for its Apple car was Apple's purchase of three high level domain names apple. car, apple. cars and apple. auto though they are currently void. These are expected to be of use in the future when massive production commences. As you leave, keep in mind that the Apple car is expected to be as classic as the iPhone during its launch.

Summary

As the world moves to a clean, zero emotion state,  many companies are dropping the petrol engine and quickly absorbing the new era of the EV.  Another area of concern is the rise of determined companies to try and develop self driving cars even if that cannot be expected to appear in the near future because of the skepticism associated with a drastic increase in the level of Artificial intelligence.
