If you are tired of browsing the internet to upload posts and keep your blogspot site up-to-date, you may need to check out what the app is ready to provide and how you may cover up its inefficiencies. WordPress is great at this because their app provides great tooling for mobile users. The only problems associated with the WordPress app is its inability to open your admin page and browser selectivity.
Blogger on the other side has very many mistakes. It’s not a great tool because, compared to the real blogger website, the app is so many generations behind. That’s harsh, but it’s real. I have used the app several times and I still use it, but only on selective tasks that don’t improve on SEO. Keep in mind that blogger SEO is hot. You can come back and read my article on social media marketing for blogger when you are done.
Features of the blogger mobile app
Text editing
This is the most lacking tool. The only editing you can do is bold, itallic and underline. All other text editing styles are missing. You cannot define a heading or subheading. If you use this app alone, you’ll affect your SEO because your content won’t be organized in parts.
You can also add links to your posts. Think about this, you can’t define the alignment of your content. It is strictly left to right. You also can’t change fonts. Another thing you can’t do is to define the text color.
Post settings
This app doesn’t provide any settings so, you can’t set your search description and also change the permalink plus many more stuff. The only thing you can set is the post labels, but those are also limited. The limit is in showing previously used labels. If you have a large list of labels and you’ve forgotten some, the app doesn’t provide a list of previously used labels for you to choose from.
Blogger menu
You can’t access the blogger menu so, you won’t see your AdSense earning, theme, settings, pages, stats and all the other menu items.
Picture addition
When adding pictures into your posts, you are limited to the large size meaning you can’t set picture size to small or extra large. The pictures are static. You can’t set the alt text and the description. Because of that, you can’t maximize on image traffic.
Another thing is that the blogger image folder isn’t provided because of that, when you want to use the same image in two posts, you have to upload it twice which quickly uses up your email memory. With the website, you can reference the same image twice.
Video addition
You can’t. Let me repeat, you can’t add videos to your posts in the mobile app.
Html edit
If an app doesn’t support multiple designs, how can it support html. This app doesn’t so, if you’re a geek, you got no business here, but I don’t say you should delete the app. Read on to find out why.
Should you download the blogger mobile app?
There are hard reasons why you should download it.
1. Text entry.
With that app, you can simply add your text, and mark the bold parts plus publishing easily. This will save you data because if you’re using the website, each time you change something, saving is done meaning more data sliding off.
2. Link addition
You can easily add links to your text and images without headache.
3. Titles
Using the app, you can change the titles of your posts within two clicks unlike the website procedure.
4. Images
You can simply add images from storage.

Sometimes I think it isn’t because the app doesn’t show your email profile picture. Instead, it shows the letter. I think it’s the work of savvy guys.
